"I love simple things like walking on the beach and in nature, quiet mornings of meditation and my yoga practice.
I study Yoga Therapy which helps me understand my own body as well as others. I study Zen Buddhism and in 2008 took my vows with Sensei Michael (Doko) Hatchet and in 2011 received the Five Mindfulness Trainings with Ordination Teacher Master Thich Nhat Hanh at New Hamlet, Plum Village in France.
My intention for life is to practice loving kindness and to teach and practice mindful living and looking deeply into things. To cultivate the seeds of forgiveness and acceptance of life as it is right here. To enjoy this moment, the colours, the intensity, the feeling of life as it is.
I love the complexity and beauty of the Human Condition and feel impelled to support people on a journey of reducing suffering and opening more space for Joy.
In many ways I choose a life of service and feel alive and vital when I am helping others.
The essence of my teaching is to support and nourish the wounded and more vulnerable aspects of ourselves and I approach my own vulnerabilities with the same conscious attention. As I live and feel my own suffering and judgments I am more open and compassionate for others.
I feel blessed to be on this Earth and to be conscious of all living beings.
If anyone asks me “what is your dream” it is to wake up each morning feeling good. This way, with the strong foundation of my practice, I am more present to appreciate Life and serve others in a genuine way."
